We hope you are delighted with your new installation from HB Oak Frames. Each piece of joinery, from doors and windows to garage frames, is crafted to last a lifetime. Correct aftercare ensures your timber continues to look its best and remains protected against the elements.
Pre-treated Joinery
If your joinery has been pre-treated in our yard, we will inform you before installation.
Pre-treated items receive two coats of protective treatment.
We recommend that you apply an additional coat immediately after installation to protect the timber from moisture ingress and weathering. This is an important step that we recommend is carried out by yourself once the joinery has been fitted to protect the timber further and avoid any swelling or marks.
*Failure to apply further protection may affect the product and we may not be able to offer a guarantee nor be responsible for any damage or rectification on your joinery after installation.
